North Park Farmers Market

EVERY THURSDAY FROM 3:00PM TO 7:30PM RAIN OR SHINE!

The North Park Thursday Market is a great community event. You can find farm fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, cheese, fresh fish, dips & sauces, yogurts, baked goods, bread, fresh flowers, hot foods, local crafts, and everything you need to stock a healthy home. It’s similar to what you would find in your local grocery store, but you are supporting local businesses!

We have activities for kids, live music, and much more. Centrally located in the heart of San Diego, there is plenty to see and do in North Park. Take the evening to check out the surrounding shops with friends and family for an evening of fun in North Park!

*Writers Round

This is a variation of an open mic. In the style of LA's Writer's Round, there are three rounds of performers. The first round consists of three performers selected randomly from a bowl. Artists can show up early to get their name included or sign up online (https://www.storyandtune.com/writers-round-sd). Each artist takes a turn performing one song, explaining the story or talking about the songwriting process. Artists play two songs total in the first round. The second round is the featured round of three artists previously arranged by the host. The featured performers do the same thing as the first round, but play four songs total. After round two, each featured artist picks a name out of the bowl for the final round. This is a great opportunity to network with local songwriters and creators. Many notable musicians have already attended to include: Lee Coulter, Jeff Berkeley, Aaron Bowen, Rachel de Koekkoek, and Joshua Taylor.
